Barbara J. Kusek, 76, Corydon, died Friday, June 15, 2007, at Indian Creek Health & Rehabilitation Center in Corydon. A native of Harrison County, she was born Jan. 30, 1931, to the late Hallie Watson. She was a homemaker. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Donald L. Kusek, and her sister, Jeanette Nicholas. Survivors include her son, James L. Kusek of Corydon; her daughter, Sandra J. Hurst of Plainfield; and two grandsons. Funeral: Monday, June 18, at 11 a.m., at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home with burial in Cedar Hill Cemetery, both in Corydon. Pallbearers: Happy Cox, Larry Banet, Glen Waynescott, and Eric, John and Jeff Hurst. (thecorydondemocrat)
