Lula Mae Painter Hester, 76, of Oxford, Mississippi and former Wolfe City, Tx. resident passed away Friday, May 31 at her residence. Mrs. Hester was born on Dec. 3, 1942 in Sulphur Springs, Tx. to Alvin Jackson Dillon and Doris Bradford Dillon. She Married Fred Painter who preceded her in death and later married Jimmy Hester. Lula Mae Painter has also been reunited with Fred Painter and will be laid to rest next to him at Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Wolfe City, Texas. Lula had 2 children and 2 stepsons. She has 11 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
