Milton J. Haas Jr., 71, of Hallettsville, passed away June 5, 2019. He was born on August 25, 1947, to Milton J. & Edna Woytek, Sr., in Hallettsville. He married Linda Appelt on October 18, 1967, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Hallettsville. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War, retired from the US Army; and member of the American Legion, V.F.W., Veterans of Vietnam and Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Milton is survived by: his wife, 3 sons, 3 brothers, and 5 grandchildren. Milton was preceded in death by his grandson, Christopher Funeral Mass Service: 11 am, Monday, June 10, 2019, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Hallettsville. Visitation: 4 pm, Sunday at Kubena Funeral Home; with the Rosary starting at 6 pm at Sacred Heart Church. Officiant: Msgr. John Peters. Memorials: Sacred Heart Catholic Church, MD Anderson Cancer Center or Donor's choice. Burial: Geiger Cemetery, Sublime, Texas
