PREMONT, Texas - Luciana R. Flores, 81, passed away Friday December 4, 2009 at a hospital in Corpus Christi, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Julia Rodriguez; her husband, Ricardo P. Soliz; and two sons, Joe Richard Soliz and George Soliz. Survivors include four sons, Tom (Norma) Soliz of Rivera, Texas, Estevan Soliz and Pedro Soliz, both of Premont, Texas, and Fidencio (Dalia) Soliz of Crockett, Texas; three daughters, Dalia (Rodolfo) Cruz of Dallas, Texas, Julia (David) Ruiz of Kingsville, Texas, and Antonia Soliz of Houston, Texas; five sisters, Guadalupe Zucha of Galveston and Dalia (Ben) Phinney, both of Galveston, Texas, Alicia (Ramiro) Cantu of Falfurrias, Texas, Maya (Estevan) Martinez of Edinburg, Texas, and Condrada Lopez of Falfurrias, Texas, 36 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. A holy Rosary was recited at 7 p.m. Sunday, December 6, 2009 at the Alaniz Funeral Home of Falfurrias, Texas. Funeral Mass was celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday, December 7, 2009 at the St. Theresa Catholic Church in Premont, Texas. Burial followed at the Premont Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Alaniz Funeral Home of Falfurrias, Texas.
