Bio

YOAKUM: Johnny Machicek, 53, passed away Sunday, June 2, 2019. He was born March 3, 1966 in Yoakum to the late John and Agnes (Orsak) Machicek. He grew up on the family farm at Midway. He loved farming, ranching and custom hay bailing. He had a love for tractors and enjoyed reminiscing about life on the farm. Survivors are his three daughters, Amber DuBois of Victoria, Ashley Machicek of Midway and Allison Machicek ; brother, Andrew Machicek and wife Linda of Temple; three grandchildren. Preceded in death by his parents. Visitation 5 to 6:30 p.m, Wednesday, June 5, 2019 at Thiele Cooper Funeral Home, with Rosary recited at 6:30 p.m.
