Wife of Martin Clendening Peggy Clendening Obituary MATTOON -- The funeral for Peggy Clendening was Tuesday at the Schilling Funeral Home with Pastor Marvin Flowers officiating. Personal remembrances were shared by her friend, Lorraine Hayward. Pianist, Brad Brown, played and sang, "Carry Your Candle," "Precious Lord, Take My Hand," and "How Great Thou Art." He also played "Somewhere Over The Rainbow." Pallbearers were Bryan, Albin, and Mike Fudge, Jim Hudson, Josh Brown, and Steve Beck. Honorary pallbearers were Gary Thompson, Michael Fudge Jr., Bert Allen, and Mike Estelle. Mrs. Clendening, 48, died July 22, 2006, at St. John's Hospital in Springfield.
