Sarah Linnie Kennedy Services for Sarah Linnie Kennedy, 608 McClish, will be 2 p.m. Monday in Bettes Chapel with the Rev. J. Cullis Smith officiating. Burial will be in the Rose Hill Cemetery. She was born Nov. 1894, in Missouri. She died Friday, Aug. 27, 1982, in a local hospital. She was the widow of Ernest Edgar Kennedy and was retired owner and operator of the Kennedy Nursing Home in Ardmore. She was a resident of the area for the last 50 years. Survivors include one brother, Lee Ballard, Ardmore. Serving as bearers will be Sen. Ernest Martin, John Burris, Ronnie Burris, Jack Hoosier, Coy Williamson, Everett Nealey and Ollie Gulley. Bettes Funeral Home will direct services.
