October 1, 1999 THE HARTFORD COURANT FROHARDT, Kenneth E. Kenneth E. Frohardt, 89, of Oak St., Old Saybrook, died Tuesday, (September 28, 1999) at his home. He was the husband of Esta (Carini) Frohardt. He was born in Manitoba, Canada, October 9, 1916, son of the late George and M. (Haslam) Frohardt. He was an active member of Phi Kappa Tau Upsilon of Nebraska Wesleyan University. He also was a World War II Army Veteran serving in the Invasion of Normandy. Besides his wife, he is survived by two sisters, Katherine Knode of Centerville, IA, and Eileen Vasicek of Puyallup, WA. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, October 9, 1999 at 10:30 a.m. at the First Church of Christ in Old Saybrook. The Swan Funeral Home, 1224 Boston Post Rd., Old Saybrook, is in charge of arrangements.
