The Deseret News May 20, 1999 page B11 Ella K. Gamble, age 90, died on May 14, 1999, in Taylorsville, Utah, due to natural causes. Born on Nov. 26, 1908, in Preston, Idaho, to Edward Francis Kingsford and Ethelyn Dowdle. She married Theodore Roosevelt Gamble on May 1, 1927, in Blackfoot, Idaho, their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple on Jan. 20, 1943. She served many years in Relief Society and Primary. She loved doing hand work, especially crochet and quilting. She is survived by sons, Melvin J. Gamble (Joan), Salt Lake; Gerry P. Gamble (Billie), Reno, Nevada; and daughter, Eileen Peck, Rexburg, Idaho; 13 grandchildren and 29 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, and sons, Max E. Gamble (1968) and Robert K. Gamble in infancy. The family gives a special thanks to the staff of the Golden Living Center for their kind and loving care for Ella while she was a resident there. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 22, 1999, at 11 a.m. in the Butler 7th Ward, 1435 E. 7200 South, with a viewing one hour prior to services. A viewing will be held on Friday, May 21, 1999, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Memorial Estates, 5850 S. 900 East, Murray. Interment will be at the Redwood Memorial Estates, 6500 S. Redwood Rd. Funeral directors; Deseret Memorial Mortuary.
