Printed in the November 15, 2002 Omaha World-Herald. Gaskill--DeWayne, 85, Lincoln, passed away 11-13-02. Born 4-19-17 to William and Martha "Pearl" (Wilbourn) Gaskill on a farm near Ulysses, NE. Farmed near Tekamah for many years. Owner/manager of Buzz's Motel in York, NE. Survived by daughters and sons-in-law, Carol and Steve Work, Littleton, CO; Robin and Hamilton Bock, Belpre, KS; grandchildren and spouses, Jeanne Work Swalm and Paul Swalm, Highlands Ranch, CO, Lori Work, Boulder, CO; Manter III and Angie Bock, San Diego, CA; Jayne Bock, Manhattan, KS; Turner Bock, Belpre, KS; great-grandsons Zachary Swalm and Brian Bock; sisters, Mrs. Eugene (Lucille) McCoy, Oklahoma City, Mrs. Dean (Dorothy) Wrede, Lincoln, NE; numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by parents; wife, Rose; brothers, Richard, Robert and Floyd; sisters, Vera Scruggs, Arleen Niemann, Annis Ganowsky and Alberta Gaskill. Funeral Service Mon, Nov. 18th, 1 pm, Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home. Pastor Armin Vogt will officiate. Pallbearers: Turner Bock, Jayne Bock, Paul Swalm, Donald Niemann, Gary Niemann and Herbert Boyd.
