Mildred Wiese, 88, of East Peoria died Sunday, Jan. 16, 2005, at her residence. Born April 19, 1916, in Spring Lake Township to Alva and Dora Rolfing Barnes, she married Richard J. "Red" Wiese on April 16, 1968, in Pekin. He died April 6, 1994, in East Peoria. She also was preceded in death by six sisters and two brothers. Surviving are one sister, Geneva Parkin of Arvada, Colo.; two stepdaughters; and one stepson. She worked in the factory at Bemis Bag Co. in Peoria. Private graveside services will be at Glendale Cemetery in Washington. Full obituary in the Peoria Journal Star - Jan. 18, 2005.
