Bio
Charlotte Weir Orr, 62, passed into the loving arms of our Lord on Sunday, May 5, 2019. She was born October 8, 1956, in Ranger, Texas, to John Fred Weir Jr., and Joyce Corine Anderson. Charlotte was a very gifted individual, loyal to a fault, highly opinionated and felt it was her duty to liven up a party for everyone’s sake. Replacing her will be an impossible task. She and her husband, Rick, are owners of Video Station in Waxahachie. Throughout her life, she was a successful volleyball, cross country, and track coach, as well as an accomplished photographer, videographer, and an overall exceptionally talented person. If you needed something created artistically, she was your person. Charlotte was the straw that stirred the drink. The glue that held things together. She was the fixer of all things, and the very best wife, daughter, sister, friend, mother and Gigi a family could ever ask for. We are, and will forever, be grateful for having her in our lives. Charlotte was preceded in death by her mother, Joyce Corine Anderson. She is survived by her husband, Rick; daughter, Kayla Orr Ferrell (David); grandchildren, Sloane Marie and Rhett Alan; father, Fred Weir Jr. (Talana); sister, Sharon Weir Connot (Rick); nephews Lance Connot (and family), Tanner Connot (and family), and Josh Orr (and family). Services celebrating Charlotte’s life will be held Saturday, May 18, 2019, at 2:00 in the afternoon at Waxahachie Funeral Home. Obituary published online by Waxahachie Funeral Home Waxahachie, Texas.
