George W. Howard, age 78, of Warsaw, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, May 7, 2019 at his home. He was born on December 11, 1940 in McKinney, Texas the son of Grady and Bonnie (Ward) Howard. He grew up in West Texas and graduated from Andrews High School. George served honorably in the United States Navy and later worked as an electrical foreman for Brown & Root in Texas. On September 4, 1981 he was united in marriage to Ruth Winger. They made their home in Texas, later moving permanently to Warsaw. He is preceded in death by his parents, one brother Grady Carroll, two sisters; Eleanora and Louise, an infant sister and a grandchild. He is survived by his wife, Ruth Howard, of the home, two sons; Kevin Howard, and his spouse Tim Sailor, of Long Beach, California and Dennis Howard, and his spouse Erin, of Houston, Texas, six stepchildren; Michael Roberts, of Warsaw, Steve Roberts, and his spouse Dena, of St. Joseph, Missouri, Kevin Roberts, and his spouse Missy, of St. Joseph, Kimberly Roberts, of Warsaw, Kelly Harrell, and her spouse Jim, of Crosby, Texas, Randy Roberts, and his spouse Tiffany, of Austin, Texas, two adopted children; Kylie Clevenger and Rylan Howard, of the home, fifteen grandchildren and nineteen great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews other relatives and many friends. Funeral Services for George W. Howard will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday, May 10, 2019 at the Reser Funeral Home in Warsaw, Missouri. Visitation will be held Thursday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. at the Funeral Home.
