Bio

Dorothy Gail Mullinax, age 81, of Benton, passed away Monday, May 6, 2019. She was born August 28, 1937 in Bauxite, Arkansas. Dorothy worked for Owosso Furniture Factory as a young lady, but spent her last forty years as a homemaker and loving wife, mother & grandmother. She was a member of New Prospect Missionary Baptist Church. Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, Lawson and Bertha Carter; husband, Melvin Earl Mullinax; brother, Danny Carter and a sister, Imogene Reeves.She is survived by her daughter, Karen Wagley (Richard); three sons, Johnny Mullinax (Tena), Dave Mullinax (Karen) and Jim Mullinax (Charlene); brother, Phillip Carter; sister, Vera Carter; six grandchildren, Anastacia Boyer, Paul Daniel Warford, Adam Mullinax, Shay Gane, Jennifer Rogers and Amy Whitcomb and nine great-grandchildren.
