The Daily Telegram , November 27, 1963 Columbus, Nebraska KROPATCH-- Rites held for William Kropatch Relatives and friends here received word of the death of a former resident, William J. Kropatch, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. O.J. Kropatch. He died Nov. 15 at Gainsville, Fla., after an extended illness, and funeral services were held at St. Matthew's Catholic church there Nov. 18. Mr. Kropatch has resided at Banes, Oriente, Cuba for 32 years, moving to Gainsville when the Castro regime took over. Surviving are his wife Josefa; a foster son, Aldo; two brothers and three sisters, Emry of New Castle, Wyo., Andy of Los Angeles, Mrs. Leo (Eva) Kotlar of Orange, Cal, Mrs. Francis (Effie) Woodhouse of Albin, Wyo, and Mrs. Louis (Alda) Iwan of Cheyenne. Mrs. Iwan was at his bedside when he died.
