Bio

Arnold Chalupa passed from this life July 27, 2011, at the age of 89. He was born August 12, 1921, in Taylor, Texas, to Julia (Slovacek) and Jerry Chalupa, Sr. He is preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Gloria Ann Chalupa; brothers, Jerry Chalupa, Jr. and Alfred Chalupa. Arnold is survived by his wife, Mary Jane (Palla) Chalupa of Taylor; daughter, Darlene Kaye Konarik and her husband, Daniel, of Taylor; grandson, Stephen Brian Konarik of Virginia; granddaughter, Erin Camille Konarik of Taylor; sister, Elsie Lacer of Mt. Carmel, Illinois; and brother, Franklin James Chalupa and his wife, Norma, of Fort Worth. In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the First Presbyterian Church of Tayor in Honor of Arnold Chalupa. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday, July 29, 2011, at Condra Funeral Home, Taylor, Texas. Funeral Services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, July 30, 2011 at Condra Funeral Home, Taylor, Texas Burial will follow at Taylor City Cemetery. Arrangements under the direction of Condra Funeral Home, Taylor, Texas.
