Bio
W. S. Wilson Sr., a lifetime resident of Taylor and co-owner of the hub Tailoring Co., passed away suddenly Saturday morning at his home, 610 Meadow Lane. Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at 3 o'clock from the Condra Memorial Chapel with Dr. David Shepperson officiating. Interment will be in the Taylor City Cemetery. Mr. Wilson was a member of the Presbyterian Church, Masonic Lodge No. 494 AF&AM, and of the Kiwanis Club. He was active in civic affairs. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mary Danek Wilson of Taylor; one daughter, Mrs. Daurice Frick of Fort Worth; five sons, Dr. William S. Wilson Jr. of Carrizo Springs. Dr. Donald K. Wilson of Carrizo Springs, Edward Danek, and Rudolph Danek of Taylor, and Frank Danek of Corpus Christi; one brother, John Wilson of Austin; and eleven grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Gano Worley, Dr. J. K. McWhorter, Virgil Dupree, Fred Gerity, John M. Griffith, Dr. E. M. Krenek, Henry Holubec, and Herbet Paterson.
