Bio

FRITCH - Evalena Maple, 83, of Amarillo, formerly of Fritch, died Saturday, Aug. 8, 1998. Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Fellowship Baptist Church in Borger with the Rev. Mike Smith, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Llano Cemetery in Amarillo by Brown Funeral Directors of Borger. Mrs. Maple was born in Aubrey and had lived in the Borger area since 1929. She was a homemaker. She was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church. She married Fred Maple. He died in 1993. Survivors include a son, Waudell Maple of Pueblo, Colo.; a daughter, Monnie Dillard of Amarillo; eight grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. Married Wed March 23, 1931 Interment: Aug 11, 1998
