KENNETH KROEGER, 81, OF SCHUYLER, DIED SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 20, 2004, AT THE IMMANUEL MEDICAL CENTER IN OMAHA. A Service of Remembrance will be held at Trinity Lutheran church in Schuyler on Wednesday, 11:00 AM, Reverend Bill Mattfeld officiating. There will be a private committal at a later date. Visitation Tuesday from 4-8 PM with the family present from 6-8 PM, at Kracl Funeral Chapel. Kenny was born November 7, 1923 in Schuyler, to Edward and Anna (Nitz) Kroeger. He attended Schuyler High School and enlisted in the United States Navy where he served from 1943-1946. On September 22, 1947, he married Marge Hejl at Trinity Lutheran Church in Schuyler. He farmed and ran the Arrow Inn Cafe with his brothers for over 40 years. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and was a member of the Schuyler Chapter of Ducks Unlimited. He is survived by his wife Marge, of Schuyler, three daughters, Lana Hoover of Columbus, Gail and her husband Rick Anderson of Fremont, Kim and her husband Doc Schaefer of Columbus, one son, Kevin and his wife Lisa Kroeger of Blair, a brother, Marvin Kroeger of Schuyler, 12 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, grandson Ben Hoover in 2002, granddaughter Mikayla Anderson in 1985 and one brother, Norval Kroeger.
