Seward County Independent , May 24, 1995, p. 22, col. 4 DEATHS Alvin John Reinmiller, 88, Seward, died Friday, May 19, at Seward. He was born Aug. 26, 1906, near Staplehurst to Adam and Anna (Schneberger) Reinmiller. He was raised on a farm near Staplehurst and attended rural school. On Jan. 2, 1941, he married Margaret Kunasek at Bee. The couple was engaged in farming and lived on a farm northwest of Staplehurst all their married life. He had been a resident of Sundermann Home since April. Mr. Reinmiller was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church of Ulysses and served on many church committees. He was a retired farmer, had been a substitute mail carrier and worked for the ASCS office for more than 20 years. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Leo and William Reinmiller. Survivors include his wife, Margaret Reinmiller, brother, Aloysius Reinmiller, Staplehurst; sister and brother-in-law, Florence and William Rerucha, Longmont, Colo.; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Charles and Lorraine Kunasek, Staplehurst; nieces and nephews. Funeral services were Monday, May 22, at Immaculate Conception Church, Ulysses, with the Rev. Paul Sheehy officiating. Casketbearers were Kenny Maca, Robert Kunasek, Paul Duer, Alan Reinmiller, Arnold Turek and Robert Ringler. Honorary casketbearers were Wayne Delfosse, Steve Reinsch, James Deuel and Alan Anderson. Burial was at the church cemetery.
