Mary Honza Santos, 84, passed away on Friday, March 29, 2019, in Ennis, Texas. Burial will be at St. Joseph's Cemetery. Mary was born in Ennis, Texas, on November 13, 1934, to the late Willie F. and Mary (Horak) Honza. Mary grew up in Ennis and graduated from St. John High School in 1952. On April 15, 1955, she married Louis Santos and they made their home in Ennis. Mary worked for many years in the finishing department of Storey Manufacturing; she also worked as a cook at Bowie Elementary in Ennis and the HEB Deli. Mary was a member of St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church and KJZT. She enjoyed quilting and her family was her pride and joy. Each Christmas Mary and her family enjoyed decorating her home for the enjoyment of the community She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis. Survivors include her daughters, Sandra Puckett and her husband, David, and Judy Santos; grandchildren: Daniel Puckett and his fiancée, Lindsey Furr, and Jeremy Puckett and fiancée, Jessica Budai; great-grandchildren: Lexy, Taylor, and Abigail; brother, Willie Honza; sisters: Helen Pechal, Dorothy Pustejovsky, Mildred Compton, and Irene Kubin; other relatives and many friends.
