Bio
Woodie Faye Spradlin, 94, passed away on March 25, 2019. A funeral service will be held at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel on Thursday, March 28, 2019 beginning at 11:00 am. A visitation will be held prior to the service beginning at 10:00 am. Woodie was born on December 2, 1924 to the late Jerry Moore and Bessie Irene Couser Moore in Prosper, Texas. She married Granville Spradlin in 1946 and together had four children. Woodie’s family became her entire world. She was an avid member of the Calvary Baptist Church for over 50 years. Woodie was a true godly woman who led by example. She is preceded in death by her husband, Granville and her parents. Survivors include her daughters, Linda Lou Maughan (Scott) and Glenda Sue Towels (Ronnie); sons, Jerry Lynn Spradlin (Judy) and Garry Wayne Spradlin; eleven grandchildren; thirty-two great-grandchildren; seven great great-grandchildren; and a host of loving friends.
