Bio
Donald Henry Krenek was born on January 24, 1937 in Garwood, Texas to Henry and Edna Jane Trilicek Krenek. He graduated from Garwood High School in 1955 and immediately joined the U.S. Navy Reserves. In June of 1959, he married Donna Bednar in Louise, Texas. Don and Donna lived in Garwood until 1966, when they moved to Katy, where they have lived since. Don was a big outdoorsman; he loved to hunt, fish, and take his family camping. He and Donna were members of St. Bartholomew Catholic Church, where he was a former member of the Knights of Columbus. Don passed away on Tuesday, August 22, 2017 at his home in Katy, at the age of 80 years. He is survived by his wife, Donna Krenek; daughter, Cindy Trammell and her husband Ken; granddaughters, Samantha Trammell and Sarah Trammell; and sisters, Shirley Tedder and Linda Kirkpatrick. He was preceded in death by his son, Todd Krenek; and brother, Billy Jo Krenek. At this time, services are postponed until further notice.
