Roscoe was the third of three children born to A W Davis and Amanda J Lievsay. In 1900, the family lived in Township 4, Chickasaw Nation, Indian Territory. Children listed on the census were: Roland (17) Nellie (13) and Roscoe (9). This census indicates Roscoe was born in Indian Territory.
