Mrs. Yelita Mae Appleton Freeman, 88, died on Saturday, March 16, 2019 in Mansfield, TX. Services for Mrs. Freeman were held on Thursday, March 21, 2019 at 10:00 AM at Hillside Memorial Gardens in Snyder, TX with Reverend Larry Rodgers officiating with the 2019-2020 officers of the Ziphon Temple No. 100 performing a graveside ceremony. Services were under the direction of Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home. Mrs. Freeman was born on July 26, 1930 in Como, TX to T.O. and Allie (Warren) Appleton. She studied at Sul Ross State University in Loop, Tx. She married Joseph Audra "Joe" Freeman on March 30, 1947 in Odessa, TX. Mrs. Freeman was a McCamey High School Math teacher for 22 years. She was a member of Ziphron Temple No. 100, Daughters of the Nile for 24 years. During her many years a member of the Daughters of the Nile, she served as Queen in 2001/2002. She also served as Princess Banker 5 years, Princess Recorder 2 years in her local Temple. At the international level she serviced the Supreme Temple as an Escort to American Flag, Escort to the Canadian Flag and as Escort to Supreme Temple Banner. She was a member of Order of the Eastern Star for 53 years and Worthy Matron of Hermleigh Chapter. She is survived by Daughter - Laura Hall and husband Ronald, Midlothian, TX 5 Grandchildren - Charla Sorrells and husband Todd, Mansfield, TX William Joseph Hall, Midlothian, TX Wetonia Neff and husband Doug, Snyder, TX Lonnie Hall and Donnie Hall, LaRue, TX 6 Great Grandchildren - Lance Rains, Midlothian, TX Katelyn Mize, San Angelo, TX Jenna Cagle and husband T.J., Snyder, TX Dakotah Neff and wife Kaylee, Snyder, TX Brendon Hall and wife, Jessica, LaRue, TX Brandi Kacir and husband Cory, Saginaw, TX 16 Great Great Grandchildren- Austin, Dustin, Dylan and Danielle Hall, LaRue , TX Kinley Waltisperger, Clara Ann and Rhett Cagle, Snyder, TX Preston , Paxton and Pierson Hall, LaRue, TX Nolan, Ryne and Callie Hall, LaRue, TX Seth, Riley and Jackson Kacir, Saginaw, TX And a sister - Yvetta Whisenhunt and husband Fred, Tyler, TX She was preceded in death by: Her parents, husband and a great grandson Brent Rains.
