Bio
Richman Lillian Phillips Richman, 93, passed away August 4, 1996 in Palacios where she had been a longtime resident. A native of Texas, born in Sipe Sprints March 19, 1903, she graduated from Palacios High School in 1926, and later married Patrick Alfred Richman in December 1928. They were married for 52 years before his death. Mrs. Richman was very active in her church, the First Baptist Church of Palacios, and was devoted to her family and her friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Patrick Richman, and a grandson, Patrick Nathaniel Richman. She is survived by her son, Phillip Hughes Richman and his wife Marilyn, her brother, Loy Phillips and Ralph Phillips and three grandchildren, Priscilla Richman Owen, Kevin Patrick Richman, and Michael Steven Richman. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thuesday, August 6, 1996 at the First Baptist Church in Palacios with Rev. Hollas Hoffman officiating. Burial will follow at the Palacios Cemetery. Pallbearers include family members, Josh Phillips, Nathan Phillips, Randall Phillips, Perry Phillips, John Schmidt, and Lee Barber. In lieu of usual remembrances, the family has requested that memorials by sent to the First Baptist Church of Palacios. Arrangements are with Taylor Bros. Funeral Home in Palacios.
