Published in The Oklahoman, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Wednesday, March 13, 2019, Page A6. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Peggy Sue (Peterson) Fowler, 78, passed away on March 6, 2019. Peggy was born on August 16, 1940 to Lloyd and Lola Belle Peterson. Peggy was very creative and enjoyed sewing, doll making, building shelves and cabinets, and working in the yard. She often watched TBN Ministries and Good Witch and listened to Gospel and Christian music. Peggy once had a wild side and when her parents would make her wear skirts, she would put shorts on underneath and would take her skirt off when she got to where she was going. Peggy was a kind soul and loved everyone around her. She put family first and loved spending time with them. Peggy is survived by her children, Brenda Yeaman & husband Bobby, Shelly Claiborne, and Keith Allen McClure & wife Laura; grandkids, Brian and Riley Yeaman, Jeffery Baird, April Finley, Jacob Lentz, and Robert McClure; sisters, Gloria Witt, Norma Jackson and brother, Bennie Peterson; 9 great grandchildren; and 1 great great grandchild. She is preceded in death by her parents Lloyd and Lola Belle Peterson, her husband, Leo Fowler, and her brother, Robert Peterson. Services for Peggy will be at 2:00 PM, Friday, March 15, 2019 at John Ireland Funeral Home Chapel, 120 S. Broadway Ave, Moore, OK. Interment will follow at I.O.O.F Norman.
