Scott L Bonds, born in Thorndale, Milam Co., TX - Son of Aulston "Boyd" Bonds Jr and Frances Elizabeth "Bettie" Staggers . Brother of Lois L, Eva "Margarette" , Johnie Alto , Hattie J, Nolan, Allie and Florence Bonds. Two siblings - names unknown. Scott married, 7 Dec 1949, Lois Lee Lovelace , a daughter of James Monroe Lovelace and Alice Lucindy Dodson . Scott and Lois had no children. Grandson of Aulston Boyd Bonds Sr & Mary Hadley Conoley and John Staggers & Mary Elizabeth Holmes. Scott died in Taylor, Williamson Co., TX. ~~~~~~~~~~~~O~~~~~~~~~~~~ BONDS, Scott of Thorndale. Age 91. Died 4/28/1988 (Thursday) in a Taylor rest home. Services held (Saturday) at Condra Memorial Chapel. Burial in Taylor City Cemetery. Rev. Howard Buchanan officiated. BORN 10/06/1897. He was a retired farmer and lifetime resident of the Thorndale area. Member of First Baptist Church in Thorndale. SURVIVORS: 4 sisters, Allie Moore of Thorndale, Florence Rowe of Taylor, Hattie Titsworth of Houston, Nolan Cast of Lake Jackson; number of nieces and nephews.
