The Edgar Sun (Edgar, NE) Thu. - Nov 17, 1966 - Page 3 Obituary, Reese-- Funeral services for Herman G. (Tiny) Reese, 56, who passed away at St. Mary's hospital (sic) in Columbus Nov. 8 were held at Monroe EUB Church on Saturday Nov. 12, with Revs. C. R. Anderson and H. Taylor officiating. Interment was at Columbus cemetery (sic). The deceased is the son of William and Emma Behlen Reese. was born Sept. 26, 1910 in Platte county (sic), Nebr. He attended schools in Platte county (sic) district 11 and District 20 at Wattsville. He was united in marriage to Margaret Gerber on Jan, 11, 1933 at the home of his parents. He lived his entire life in Platte county (sic), with the exception of several years at Edgar. He was a heavy equipment operator and belonged to the heavy operator's union. He was a retired member of the Edgar volunteer fire department. Mr. Reese is survived by his wife, who lives at Monroe; three daughters, Mrs. Robert (Fern) Knowlton of Monroe. Mrs. Al (Erma) Roe of Jacksonville, Ark. and Mrs. Marjorie Kesselberg of Monroe; three, sons, Carol Edmison and Don Reese of Mon roe and Sp. 4 Harold Reese of U. S. Army; a sister. Mrs. Harvey (Anna) Anderson of Monroe; two brothers, Fritz Reese of Omaha and Henry Reese of Monroe and 16 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, as brother, John Reese, who died May 4, 1966 at York and three grandchildren.
