COTTONWOOD HEIGHTS -- Myrtle Booth Healy, 77, 7484 S. 23rd East, died Thursday evening in a Salt Lake City hospital following a lingering illness. Born Nov. 9, 1884, Nephi, a daughter of John Albert and Jane Carter Booth. Married Alexander McOmie in 1908. Divorced. Married Hyrum Carson Healy May 3, 1926, in the St. George Temple, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He died April 9, 1957. Reared in Nephi. She was a graduate of the Brigham Young University. Taught school in Sterling, Sanpete County, for two years prior to her first marriage. Active in Church, serving in auxiliary organizations. Fulffiled a mission in East Jordan Stake. Member of Butler Sixth Ward at time of death. Survivors: two sons and one daughter, Montieth A. McOmie, Belmont, Calif; Commander Donald B. McOmie, San Diego, Calif.; and Mrs. John (Katherine) McKnight, Cottonwood Heights; one stepson and two stepdaughters, Alveria Davey, LaVerna Redford, and Evan Healy, all of Los Angeles; six grandchildren; one brother, Paul E. Booth, Nephi. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday noon at the Butler Sixth Ward chapel, 3001 E. 7800 South. Friends may call at the mortuary, 4760 South State, Monday from 6 to 8 p.m., and at the ward chapel Tuesday one hour prior to services. Burial will be in the Salt Lake City Cemetery.
