(wife, 66, New York). ************************ The Fresno Bee , November 14, 1927, p. 3, col. 2 & 3 RETIRED FARMER DIES James Walker, 76, a retired farmer, died to-day at a local hospital following a long illness. He had resided in Fresno County for thirty years. Walker is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Arvada Autrand, on Olive Avenue, with whom he made his home. Funeral services will be announced later by the Westside Undertakers. ___ November 15, 1927, p. 2, col. 3 WALKER FUNERAL TO-MORROW Funeral services for James Walker, 77, a native of Ohio, who died yesterday at a local hospital, will be held to-morrow at the chapel of the Westside Undertakers, 404 F Street, with Rev. M. Snooks of Easton officiating. Burial will be in Mountain View Cemetery. Walker, a retired farmer, is survived by a daughter, Mrs. J. C. Autrand of Fresno, and a sister, Marion Walker, of Missouri. ___ November 16, 1927, p. 7, col. 3 WALKER SERVICES HELD Last rites for James Walker, 77, retired Fresno County farmer, who died last Monday at a local hospital, were conducted to-day at the chapel of the Westside Undertakers, followed by interment in Mountain View Cemetery. Rev. M. Snooks of Easton officiated. Walker was a native of Ohio and had resided in Fresno for more than twenty years. He leaves a daughter, Mrs. J. C. Walker passed away Monday, November 14, in Fresno, Cal., after a long illness. He was in the hospital over a year. Mr. Walker formerly lived in Ohiowa. He was a brother of the late Henry and Joe Walker.
