Bio
Rosalie “Rosie” Marie Vrana, 63 of Jarrell, passed away March 4, 2019 at her home in Jarrell. She was born October 16, 1955 in Taylor, Texas, the daughter of Rudy and Elizabeth (Straka) Vrana. Rosie was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church and loved to watch her favorite shows, Walker Texas Ranger and Molly B Polka Show. Along with her shows, she enjoyed playing card and all of her stuffed animals. In 1982, Rosie participated in the Special Olympics where she received a Placard for High Game in bowling. Rosalie loved everyone and everyone was her friend. She was grateful for all of the doctors and nurses and all of their wonderful care. A special Thank You for all the prayers and everyone that stopped by to visit and all the food. She is preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Johnny Vrana of Jarrell. Survivors include her siblings, Rudy Vrana and wife Gloria, Anthony Vrana, Joann Fojtik and husband Joe, Michael Vrana; nephews, Mike Fojtik and Gene Fojtik and wife Deanna; great nieces, Stephanie, Christina and Katriana Fojtik, all of Jarrell. Funeral Mass will be held 10AM, Friday, March 8, 2019, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church of Corn Hill, under the direction of The Gabriels Funeral Chapel and Crematory with Father Stephen Nesrsta officiating. Burial will follow at Holy Trinity Catholic Cemetery. A visitation will be held Thursday, March 7, 2018, from 5-7PM, with a Rosary from 7-8PM at the funeral home.
