Lillian Marie Tlamka was born on August 27, 1930, in Seward County to Ludvik Anton and Mary Ann (Coufal) Policky. She passed away on March 5, 2019, in Lincoln at the age of 88 years, 6 months and 6 days. Lillian grew up in Seward County where she was raised in the Catholic faith. She attended District #70 country school. She was united in marriage to Frank Tlamka and to this union three sons were born. The couple lived in the Brainard area where they farmed and ran a custom shelling business for many years. After the couple divorced Lillian worked at Walkers and later Henningsen Egg Plant in David City until her retirement. She loved being with her family and spending time with her grandchildren. She enjoyed the outdoors and working in her garden. She loved cooking and baking, especially her famous Kolaches. Lillian was a caring soul and would do anything to help anyone. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sons, Larry Tlamka, Bob and wife Jacque Tlamka; two great grandchildren, Joseph and Elizabeth; two brothers and their wives, Ludvik and Georgia Policky, Emil and Rose Policky; sister-in-law, Libbie Policky; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Laddie and Joann Tlamka and former husband, Frank Tlamka. Lillian is survived by her son, Jerry Tlamka, Lincoln; five grandchildren, Bryan and wife Jen Tlamka, Jeffrey and wife Sarah Tlamka, Lacey Tlamka, Jeremy and wife Khrystyne Tlamka, all of Lincoln and Matt and Shannon Rhoades, Denver; seven great grandchildren, Brynn and Wyatt Tlamka, Hannah, Abby and Josefina Tlamka, Wesley and Stella Tlamka; brother, Raymond Policky, Bee; numerous nieces and nephews.
