George Everett, 49, died Saturday, March 9, 1968, at his home in Houston, Tex. A former resident of Palestine, Tex., Mr. Everett was born in Mississippi. He was the son of the late Charles T. Everett and Mrs. Mary Fites Everett. He was a life-long member of the Baptist Church. He leaves his widow, Mrs. Lerlene Everett of Houston; one daughter, Mrs. Maurine Capp of Odessa, Tex,: one stepdaughter, Mrs. Martin Rhone of Pasadena, Tex.; a stepson, Henry Bearfield of Pasadena; two grandsons and one granddaughter. His funeral was conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 14, in Bailey Memorial Chapel, with the Rev. Otis Felton officiating.
