The Oakland Independent June 23, 1983 Donald G. Carson, 70, died on Monday at Oakland, NE. He was born on October 5, 1912 at Craig to Glen and Mabel Carson. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Mary Lou Quick, brothers; Lloyd, Dean, Gerald and an infant brother. He is survived by brothers; Jack of Craig, Kenley of Scribner, sisters; Julia Trammer of Craig, Opal Thomas of Tekamha, Joyce Smith of Denver and Janette Johnson of Oakland, uncle, Toby Carson of Shenandoah, IA and aunt, Gladys Carson of Lyons, He was buried at the Baptist Cemetery, Uehling, NE.
