Bio
Sally May Sury passed away at age 95 on February 24, 2019. She was born in Beasley, Texas on 11/17/1923 to Martha and August Schlitzkus. She loved dancing, country-western music and often invited friends to come over and view her Garth Brooks and Elvis DVD's. She always took pride in her appearance and had to have her makeup on and her hair fixed weekly at the "beauty shop" - even at age 95. She is preceded in death by her husband, Leonard E. Sury. She is survived by her son, Gregory Sury; daughter & son-in-law, Donna and Danny Coombs; two grandchildren, two great-grandchildren as well as her two sister-in-laws, Rose Webb and Lil Foxworth; and several nieces and nephews. The family wishes to thank the staff at Brookdale Willowbrook Place for the compassionate care given Sally over the last year.
