Bio

Herman Brinkmeyer, 89, passed away Monday, Sept. 26, 2011. He was born Jan. 27, 1922 to Fritz and Lena (Fathauer) Brinkmeyer, Sr. He was the youngest of 12 children. On July 27, 1947, he married Janet Schroeder. Herman loved farming and working on clocks. In his younger days, he enjoyed dancing. Herman is survived by his wife; his son, Logan Brinkmeyer and wife, Debbie; granddaughters, Christy Williams and husband, Don, and Tracie Luna and husband, John; and great-grandsons, Matthew and Noah Williams and Christopher and Chase Luna. He was preceded in death by his parents, seven brothers, and four sisters. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 29, at Providence Funeral Home. Celebration of life services will be 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 30, at Providence Funeral Home. Burial to follow at Taylor City Cemetery. Pastor Walter Miller will officiate.
