Funeral services for Minnie Faye Plunk Butler will be held at 6:00 P.M., Tuesday, February 26, 2019 in the chapel of Kilpatrick Funeral Home, West Monroe. Rev. Eddie Simmons will officiate. Visitation will be from 4:00 P.M. until time of service, Tuesday, February 26, 2019 at the funeral home. Faye was born January 31, 1933 in Eudora, Arkansas and passed away on February 23, 2019 in West Monroe, Louisiana. She was a member of Family Church and a retired hair dresser. Faye is preceded in death by her husband, Lewis Butler, Sr.; son, Lewis Butler, Jr.; parents, W.D. and Eunice Plunk. Faye is survived by three daughters, Malinda Hite, Susan Weathersby and husband Michael, Mary “Dinky” Cotton; six grandchildren, Stacey Crenshaw and husband Neil, Jessica McCurdy and husband Wess, Jonathan Weathersby and wife Laura, Ashley Tarantino and husband Nick, Matthew Lowery Cotton and wife Melanie, Sarah Cotton; nine great-grandchildren, Kathleen, Kyle, Bella, Francesca, Ethan, Adam, Anna, Audrey, Luke; two great-great grandchildren, Remi, Aurora; sisters, Marie Griggs, Jean Gammill; many other cherished family and friends.
