Services for Kay Royle will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 21, 2019 at Holly Springs Cemetery, near Athens. Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday afternoon at Hilliard Funeral Home in Van. Florence Kay Humphrey Royle was born November 26, 1936 in Blackfoot, Texas. She had been a resident of Lindale (Swann Community) most of her life. She passed away at the age of 82 on February 18, 2019. She was preceded in death by her son, Wayne Royle; parents, George Willis Humphrey and Elsie Estelle Brown Humphrey; and brother, James Humphrey. Survivors include her husband of 63 years, Gene Royle of Lindale; daughters, Delores Jones of Lindale and Ramona Kennedy (Lynn) of Lindale; siblings, Norma Jean Wartzick, Don Humphrey and Debbie Humphrey; seven grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.
