Bio

Elo David Sr., of Route 1, Taylor. Age 81. Died on Saturday, May 13, 1972, in a local nursing home. Services were held on Monday in Condra Memorial Chapel. Burial in Taylor City Cemetery. Rev. Dan Marek officiated. He was born on March 21, 1892, in Fayetteville, and was a retired farmer. Member of the Taylor Brethren Church and the SPJST Lodge 29. He had lived in Taylor since 1925. Survivors: Daughter, Mrs. Anton Pokorny of Pflugerville; two sons, Ben David of Corpus Christi, and Elo David Jr. of Taylor; six sisters, Mrs. Joe Taman of Rockport, Mrs. Bill Johnson of Austin, Mrs. Norris Sorenson, Mrs. Anton Mikus, Mrs. Frank Overby, and Mrs. Ed Tomas of Taylor; and brother, Joe David of Corpus Christi.
