John Raymond Chermok 1943 - 2006 Perry Services for John R. Chermok, 63, Perry, were at Rumsey-Yost Funeral Home in Lawrence. Mr. Chermok died Wednesday, Nov. 1, 2006, at Midland Hospice House in Topeka. He was born March 12, 1943, in Loveland, CO, the son of Louis and Ann Couma Chermok. He graduated from David City High School in Nebraska. He moved to Lawrence in 1965 from Omaha, NE. Mr. Chermok worked as a carpenter for more than 20 years. He also was a truck driver for Farmland Industries. He married Sharon Felt on March 21, 1969, in Lawrence. She survives, of the home. Other survivors include two sons, Cory, Lawrence, and Steven, Topeka; a brother, Louis, Virginia; and three grandchildren. Visitation was after the service Tuesday.
