It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on March 8, 1984. The building historically served as a meeting hall for the Czech community, hosting a Zapadni Ceska Bratrska Jednota lodge that was the oldest Czech fraternal order in Oklahoma. 10 SEP 2022 SAC to add LOB and year of marriage. ~ Justina was born (in) Kostelec, Czech to Vincent and Barbara (Solomon) Simecek. Sister of Stanley, Elizabeth, Annie, and Mary. Wife of Josef Lejska Sr. Mother of Joe Jr, Augusta, and Anna. Grandmother of Cordelia. Great grandmother of Cheryl and Sandra. Great great grandmother of Matthew, Jared, and Cassandra. She immigrated to the US approx 1907 and lived for a time in the Bryan or Brazos TX area. A farm wife, she was a member of the ZCBJ #46 lodge of Prague OK.
