Funeral services for Edward Lord, 74, who died Saturday night, were to be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday at the Keucks Funeral Home, with the Rev. Harold Bodeen officiating. Burial will be in Glendale Memorial Gardens. The Pantagraph, Tues., Sept. 5, 1961, page 9. Edward Lord, 74, of 1013 Black St., a retired farmer, died Saturday at Pekin Public Hospital. He was born March 12, 1887, in Dillon Township, the son of Lee and Katherine Fornoff Lord. He married Bertha Brown Sept. 23, 1914, in Elm Grove Township. Survivors are his wife; a son, Nelson, Pekin; six sisters, Mrs. Eva Rush, Delavan; Mrs. Luella Hoerr, Pekin; Mrs. Anna Hunt, Mackinaw; Mrs. Minnie Dorsey, Manito; and Mrs. Mary Vander Heyden and Mrs. Della Taylor, both of Pekin.
