Kenneth Hain January 9, 1947 - January 20, 2019 Kenneth John Hain, age 72 of Lincoln, passed away January 20, 2019. He was born on January 9, 1947. Kenneth retired from the Game & Parks in 2011 after 35 years of service. Ken proudly served in the United States Marine Corps, stationed in Okinawa. He enjoyed Memorial Day weekends at Platte River State Park with all his kids, took annual trips to Branson, MO and the highlight was going to flea markets, and he also loved going to garage sales and the Main street Auctions in Waverly. Spent his days watching his youngest grandson. Ken didn't know a stranger. Loved wildlife, especially squirrels, and being out in nature. Ken was so proud of his kids. Kenneth was a 1965 graduate of St. Thomas Aquinas High School, David City, Nebraska. Ken is survived by his wife Alette; children Cari (Chad) Godsey, Christopher (Tracy) Gruhn, Benjamin Gruhn (Jalisa Harlow significant other) Timothy Hain, Rebecca Fish (Ryan Wetterberg significant other), Kathryn Ambriz (Nick Kreifels special friend); sisters Maryann (Larry) Schwaderer, Theresa (Bob) Mills, Brenda Hain; brother Randy (Debbie) Hain; mother in law Darlene Jensen; sister in law Lynn (Roger) Hartog; grandchildren Kaycee, Summer, Tarryn, Bryce, Matthew, Alexis, Cory, Brice, Cristian, Connor, Austin, Ashlynn, and Rayder. He is preceded in death by his parents Hubert & Ann Hain, father in law Fred Jensen, sister & brother in law Beverly & Robert Creager, niece Tracy O'Dell. Mass of Christian Burial will be on Friday, January 25, 2019 at 10:30 am at North American Martyrs Catholic Church, 1101 Isaac Dr., with Father Luke Fleck officiating. Viewing: Thursday 9-9 visitation with the family present 5-7 followed by Rosary at 7:00, all at Butherus, Maser & Love Funeral Home 4040 A Street Burial: Hoffer Cemetery Gresham, NE Friday 2:00 MEMORIALS: to the family for later designation
