H. L. Hughey Dies in Dallas Word has been received that H. L. Hughey of Dallas passed away Sunday night. He was a former resident of Rains County. He is at Mesquite at Anderson-Clayton Funeral Home. Services for H.L. Hughey Services for H.L. Hughey, 81, will be at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 21, 1994, at Mesquite Church of Christ. Interment will be at Laurel Land Memorial Park of Dallas. Mr. Hughey was born July 8, 1913, in Point, Texas, and passed away September 18, 1994. He was a member of Mesquite Church of Christ and past deacon, manager /coach on one of the first four little league baseball teams in Dallas. He is survived by his wife, Inez Hughey; daughter, Carol Ann Walker and children;son, Don Wayne Hughey and children; eleven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and two sisters.
