William Barnett Hardin, age 54, passed away Friday, August 15, 2014 in Sherman. William Barnett Hardin was born January 22, 1960 in Bay City, Texas; the son of John Hardin and Mildred (Morris) Mauldin. William was raised in Odessa, Texas where he graduated from Odessa High. He furthered his education through his attendance and graduation from Odessa College, Howard Payne University and Southwestern Theological Seminary where he received his Master's Degree of Divinity. He worked for a time at B. McDaniel Middle School where he taught 6th grade math. Mr. Hardin was currently working as a nurse at the Angels of Care Pediatric Home Health. William will be missed deeply by all of the lives that he touched, and a void will be left in the hearts of his family and friends. Mr. Hardin is survived by his loving family, wife, Lanice Hardin, mother, Mildred Mauldin, sister, Brenda Hardin, stepsons, Matthew Freeman, Cliff Freeman and Blake Freeman, five grandchildren, and his nephew, Logan Bryant. He was preceded in death by his father, John Hardin. A memorial service for Mr. Hardin will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, September 6, 2014 at the Fisher Funeral Home Chapel. There is no set time for visitation. Condolences may be registered online at www.fisherfh.com Services are under the direction of Fisher Funeral Home, 604 W. Main St. in Denison. His ashes were interred with his mother, in her coffin.
