Crosby-Carlson-Meyer mortuary is in charge. © Morning World-Herald; Omaha, Nebraska; Thursday, December 7, 1939, page 11 Mrs. George Markhofer Funeral services for Mrs. Barbara Markofer, 72, wife of George Markhofer, 418 Cedar street, will be Friday at 2 p.m. at the Crosby-Carlson-Meyer mortuary, with Rev. Walter Traub officiating. Burial will be at Hillcrest Memorial park. Survivors other than the husband are a daughter, Theresa, and sons, George, jr., Walter, and John, all of Omaha, and William, of Columbus Neb. Mrs. Markhofer had lived in Omaha 50 years.
