Bio
Catherine McFarlane born in Warren Co., Tennessee was a daughter of William Monroe McFarlane who died there in 1840. After his death the family moved to East Texas. Catherine's Mother, Christian Jane Price McFarlane is buried in this Zion Hill Cemetery ; having come with her family to Texas. Catherine married Madison A. Turner in Tennessee 1845 and they arrived in Texas in the winter of 1848. Of their children; Wm. Hiram born 1846 in Tennessee, Crissa Ann born Dec. 1848 in TX, Robert Charles, Richard James, Isaac Camuel, Martha Caroline, Maddison, Mary, Sarah Catherine, Miss J.R. and Andrew Jackson Turner born 1871 in Jasper Co., TX Catherine died Oct. 27, 1907.
