Bio
Estelle L. Young, 73, of Houston and formerly of Austin, was called to her eternal home on February 17, 2004 at her daughter's residence. Visitation will be Thursday from 6 to 8 pm at Providence Funeral Home in Taylor. Graveside services will be held at 12 noon, Friday, February 20, 2004 at Taylor City Cemetery. Estelle Louise Young was born July 10, 1930 in Hutto, Texas to Samuel and Esther (Johnson) Davis. Estelle had lived the greater part of her life in Austin where she raised her family and worked as an insurance underwriter for Northwestern National Insurance Company for 36 years, retiring in 1993. She is preceded in death by her parents and sister, Monica Blaha. Survivors include her son, Mike Martin and his wife Judy of Georgetown; her daughter, Carol Martin of Houston; brother-in-law, Jodie Blaha and his wife Trona of Taylor; grandchildren, Gina Brinkman of Georgetown, Jennifer Ayoub of IL, Ahmer and Rashad Dawoudi of Houston; three great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
