Married Sarah Margaret "Maggie" Sipes, daughter of Henry Franklin Sipes and Sarah Angeline Collins of Virginia, on 06 Jan 1880 in Sangamon County IL. Walter Sidney Lynn was the only living son from this marriage. After Maggie died in mid 1880's, Scott married again to Cora Carman, on 26 Mar 1891 in Sangamon County IL.
